Here we tell you about how ICA Group's path crossed Euromobil's, a large kitchen manufacturer.
Euromobil kitchens choose ICA Group's coatings for wood
Together to design kitchens that convey unique emotions and respect the environment.
The kitchen space is where the "heart of the house" beats and we share gustatory experiences - even if Massimo Bottura isn't behind the stove. Every day, for almost fifty years, Euromobil has been focusing on this special area of the house, carrying out studies and research projects. Its goal? Designing kitchens with a story to tell and a vibe to experience, that are completely respectful of the large house we live in - Mother Earth. That's why, Euromobil chose to employ ICA Group's water-based coatings for furnishings.
Here we want to introduce you one of our prestigious clients because we like to share the stories of companies that we respect and whose vision we support.
A project that ranges from the kitchen space to "our house - Mother Earth"
Antonio, Fiorenzo, Giancarlo and Gaspare are the Lucchetta brothers. In 1972, in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, the four brothers began to shape what today is a group known all over the world: Euromobil. What did the company look like in the early seventies? It was a small artisan firm with big ambitions, and in the second half of the 1980s, it began to grow more and more becoming what it is now.
Its design principles are the search for beauty, a timeless design, a painstaking attention to detail, the respect for the environment and innovative production systems. That's how kitchens can improve the quality of the time and space intended for them, as well as be respectful of the environment. To achieve these goals, Euromobil has never stopped researching, improving and innovating.
Euromobil and ICA Group, when two paths cross
It is right in the middle of this innovation journey that Euromobil's and ICA Group's paths crossed. Euromobil was looking for a super matte, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint finishes to renew two of its iconic kitchen models, Antis and Lain. The group was searching for top quality, low environmental impact, high resistance materials and finishes- high resistance is an essential requirement for kitchens - and found all these properties in our coatings.
In particular, we suggested two of our coating ranges:
- S-MATT: these coatings give an ultra matt effect, and are anti-fingerprint, anti-scratch and self-healing. Also, being water-based, they have very low emissions of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
- Iridea water-based: these coatings have a very low VOCs content (3-7%), and ensure excellent aesthetic and qualitative results.
What was the result of this collaboration? Roberto Gobbo, architect of Euromobil Group, tell us about it.
"Re-design kitchen atmosphere, the new design project that revives some of the most prestigious Euromobil kitchens, is an evolution of the original Kitchen Atmosphere concept, the company vision based on the production of décor capable of creating a real atmosphere that welcomes people and nourishes their body and soul. This was also possible thanks to the introduction of new materials and finishes such as ICA Group super matt lacquered (S-MATT) and water-based coatings (Iridea water-based)."
We are also thankful to Euromobil, because working with such ambitious companies is what mainly fuels our enthusiasm and passion for what we do.
