Our response: protection of employees, smart working and production of gels and sprays for donation only.
Moreover, also thanks to our company in China, we were able to carefully monitor since the outset the evolution of what initially was an epidemic confined to certain territories and which was later declared a pandemic.
We responded to the arrival of coronavirus to Italy by immediately adopting all the necessary safety measures for protecting the health of our employees and collaborators. Well before the Prime Minister’s decree dated March 8th, we activated important extraordinary measures to protect the health of our employees. We immediately arranged smart working for over 100 people and also closed the corporate canteen and gym. In the production departments we immediately guaranteed maximum protection for all operators, thanks to protective equipment and safe distancing (the measures we implemented also included the enlargement of the changing room areas and the tripling of general cleaning services).
Moreover, to further protect our employees, we have activated an entirely free insurance policy, covering expenses for hospitalization and recovery following infection from Covid-19, plus a post-recovery assistance package.
We therefore continued to work in fully safe conditions and, given the international context and the health crisis which heavily hit our region of origin (the Marches), we decided to offer our services to the territory to tangibly help prevent contagion.
Our research and development laboratory, from which world-renowned innovative products have emerged, has taken an unprecedented path. No coatings are being formulated, but hydro-alcoholic solutions in gel and spray form.
As soon as the researchers had formulated these products, our company’s Purchasing Department performed a thorough search for the necessary raw materials and packaging.
To date we have donated over one thousand gel and spray packages to hospitals of the Asur Marche Area Vasta 3 circuit, which fully covers the provincial territory of Macerata. Here, among other things, they are currently building (in the exhibition center of Civitanova Marche, the city where we are headquartered) an intensive care unit for 90 Covid-19 patients. An equal number of packages were donated to hospitals in the province of Fermo, the Green Cross and the Red Cross, the civil protection agency and the Municipality, which distributed them to other health facilities in Civitanova Marche. And we’re not stopping here: production continues so that we can continue supporting our territory with donations until there is a need.
