This shade is suggestive of the sky as dusk approaches but it also evokes other images and states of mind. We asked Sandro Paniccia, our Chairman and owner of Altair, to let us in on his own view of the color of the year. “What makes Classic Blue the essence of elegance is its simplicity, and in this, it is just like the sea. I began sailing as a boy and I have been at it for over 40 years now; the sea helps me to unwind completely and gives me a sensation of absolute tranquility. I am convinced that this “magic” is partially worked by its color.”

Our color team has already formulated Classic Blue (P52020) which can be used to attain any result. It ranges from an outperforming matte version to a glossy one and includes low-emission finishes and BIO ones formulated with renewable raw materials.
